Bengaluru: The court on Thursday concluded the hearing of the bail application of actor Darshan, who is under arrest in the Renukaswamy murder case of Chitradurga, and reserved the judgment for October 14.
The 57th CC Court heard the bail application filed by Darshan and reserved the verdict after listening to the lengthy arguments of the lawyer CV Nagesh and SPP Prasanna Kumar for the accused.
It will be known on October 14 whether A2 accused Darshan will get bail or not. On the same day, the bail application order of accused A1 Pavithra Gowda, A8 Ravishankar, A11, A12 and A13 will also come out.
A13 Deepak is sure to get bail on October 14. Because SPP has not raised any objection to grant bail to Deepak. But Prasanna Kumar argued that none of the other accused should be granted bail.
In today’s argument, CV Nagesh presented his defense to the arguments submitted by SPP in the last two days. Nagesh objected to the investigation conducted by the police that the location of the accused and the witnesses were at the same place. After that, he also objected that the statement of a witness was recorded 13 days late. Also, that evidence was created by the police. He argued that after the post-mortem examination report came, the statement was obtained from the witness to be compared with that report.
