Mysore: The cultural hub of Mysore has had another gang rape. According to reports, two males who met at a tavern gang-raped a young woman. The victim filed a complaint with the Vijayanagar police station in Mysore after the assault, which happened on Sunday.
The young Madikeri woman and the accused met in a city pub. The preliminary police report claims that the criminals gang-raped her after luring her to another location. The recurrence of a similar crime following the August 24, 2021, gang rape incident has caused fear among the public.
According to sources, police have gathered CCTV evidence showing a young woman having a lengthy party in a pub with one of the suspects. Together, the victim and the accused had drank almost seven bottles of beer.
Additionally, the police have CCTVevidence showing the victim and the accused entering the lodge and leaving. One of his relatives was invited to the lodge by the accused, who was with the victim at the pub.The specifics of what transpired between the victim and the accused inside the lodge are yet unknown to the authorities. According to the police, the complaint, not the incident, is what led to the BNS Section being called in for gang rape in the FIR.
The victim is safe and normal, and she has not been hurt. According to police sources, they are confirming the details of the victim’s complaint.
