Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Police on Monday filed an appeal in the Supreme Court seeking quashing of the High Court order granting bail to actor Darshan Thugudeepa and his girlfriend Pavithra Gowda, including seven accused in the Chitradurga Renukaswamy murder case. This has put actor Darshan, who is out on bail, in trouble again.
An appeal was filed in the Supreme Court today challenging the High Court’s grant of bail to the seven accused in the Renukaswamy murder case.
Supreme Court lawyer Anil Nishani has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court on behalf of the police, requesting that the bail granted to actors Darshan, Pavithra Gowda, Lakshman, Pradush, Nagaraju, Anukumar and Jagadish, accused in the case, be cancelled.
On December 13, a single-member bench of High Court Justice S Vishwajit Shetty granted conditional bail to accused number 1, Pavithra Gowda, second accused Darshan, other accused R Nagaraju, Anu Kumar alias Anu, Lakshman M, Jagadish alias Jagga and Pradush S Rao on Friday.
